History Park Wedding with Kisa and Jimmy in San Jose Ca.

A few weeks ago I got to photograph Kisa and Jimmy's Wedding at History Park in San Jose. This was the first time I had ever shot at History Park and what a unique place, it almost reminded me of a Movie set. Everything went great and the weather was perfect. Wenona and Nick's Wedding in Santa Cruz, Ca.

A few weeks ago I got to photograph Nick and Wenona's Wedding in Santa Cruz, Ca. The Ceremony was at Peachwoods and the Reception was held at The Coconut Grove by the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. What a wedding this was! It was a Greek wedding with a godfather theme, very cool. Wenona and Nick love movies so they wanted something that reflected what they love. They are both great people and it was a great event. Heidi and Lia from Couture Celebrations were there to help the event run smoothly. I love working with Event coordinators because it makes my job just a little bit easier. Jake and Luke From Dream Media were there doing the video. One of my favorite video teams I like to work with at Weddings. They even had a candy bar which I thought was rad. The band kept the crowd rocking all night long. Anyway here are some images that I captured though the day...

Studio Opening Party!!!!

If you haven't heard already I opened a new studio!!! I really haven't talked about it yet because I have been working to get it perfect before I start letting people know about it. I had a party last Thursday to celebrate the opening of the studio and I can say it could have not gone any better than I thought. Lots of friends, Family and other vendors showed up to help celebrate. I hired a cater and a bartender to help me host the party and I can't say THANK YOU enough to my friend Jett who came out on his birthday to serve drinks and help me out. I would also like to Thank my Girl Rebecca for helping me put this together. I never knew how much time and energy it takes to put something like this together.

The biggestest THANKS goes out to Karen Major of Poetry in Motion Catering for delivering the great food and helping me out with everything else. I have been working with Karen for a while now and her food is amazing!! If you need a great Cater call Karen, her food is the best!!!

Melinda and Dave's Wedding at Nestldown in the Santa Cruz Mountians

The Weekend before last I got to photograph Dave and Melinda's Wedding at the Beautiful location Nestldown. This location is a true gem located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It even has a train that goes around the whole property. Brooke the Coordinator and her crew at Nestldown did a great job keeping everything moving smoothly. It was probably the hottest day of the year so far but it was perfect because Nestldown has so much shade the the temperature was perfect. Trisha & Eric's Wedding at the Sainte Claire Hotel in San Jose, CA

A couple of weeks I got to photograph Trisha and Eric's Wedding at the Sainte Claire Hotel in San Jose, Ca. It was just one of those events that everything was special. I got to give it up to all the great team of vendors that I worked with on the wedding day. Tanya & Shannon's Wedding at the Cocoanut Grove in Santa Cruz, CA.

I finally shot my first wedding of 2008 and it looks like it's going to be a great year. I have had sometime to relax and enjoy some down time before wedding season kicks full into gear. I'm going to squeeze some last minute trips in and maybe get up to the snow a few more times.

    Earlier this year I got to photograph Tanya and Shannon's Wedding here in Santa Cruz at the Cocoanut Grove. The day turned out to be great knowing the weather this time of year and we captured some great images through out the day, check it out...

Vanessa & Brian's Wedding in La Selva Beach

A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph my last wedding of 2007 in La Selva Beach. What a great wedding it turned out to be! The weather was perfect and the event ran perfect, what a great way to end the year. Vanessa and Brian both grew up around the area so this place was real special to them. You could really see how much in love these two were. Any who, enough with the blabbing and here is some images that I captured through out the day....

Heidi & Brent's Wedding in Soquel Ca.

First things first I have been seriously slacking on updating my blog in the last few months, so I apologize for that. I have been finishing up wedding season and there are a lot of big things coming in the future of Orbie Pullen Photography. Back to the post, A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Heidi and Brent's Wedding. The Ceremony was held at a small church in downtown Soquel and the Reception was held at Michael's on Main.
I had the honor of working with the talented Lori Hood from Allison Weddings. Lori kept everything running smoothly, it's always great working with a hired coordinator. Here are some images that I captured through the day...

Hannah and Cory at the Sea Cliff Inn in Aptos

First of all I would like to thank every one who answered the poll questions. It really helps me make this blog better for my readers.

A few weeks back I got to photograph Hannah and Cory's Wedding in Aptos at the Sea Cliff Inn. What a great day! The weather was perfect and everything ran smoothly to the help of Ashley the Coordinator. Hannah and Cory are such cool people and it was great working with them. Hannah is a stylist at Daryl Steven's Salon, she actually did the hair of a past bride of mine. If you need to get your hair done or massage or anything like that go there, that place rocks! Anyway here are some pictures I captured through out the day...

Patrick and Stephanie's Wedding at the Chaminade in Santa Cruz

Well I'm about to head to my wedding in Monterey and I had some time so I thought I would ketch up on my blogging since I have been super busy in the peek of Wedding Season.

A few weeks back I got to photograph Patrick and Stephanie's wedding at the Chaminade in Santa Cruz. All I can say is WOW! What a wedding this was, everything ran smoothly and everyone was great. I got to work with a great crew of vendors from David Ethridge of a A Video Reflection for the video and Mike McKee from Nelson Entertainment doing the DJ thing. The coordination staff at Chaminade was also top notch. I highly recommend these vendors for your wedding. Check out the awesome shots I captured through the day...
