Livermore Ca. Family Portrait Session with Kristi and James.

Kristi is the sister of a former bride of mine and I had the honor of photographing her maternity session with her and her sister when they were pregnant. James wanted to surprise Kristi with a present on mothers day, so he called me up and got a family portrait as a gift to her. So I met them in Livermore, Ca. were they live and we went to a local park to get some family shots of them and their beautiful little daughter. Here are some of the images I captured at the session.

Rose + Ruby I Santa Cruz Beach Kids Photographer.

This session is a little more personal than any other because Ruby and Rose are my Nieces! Over the holidays when my brother and his wife were visiting we headed down to the beach to do some causal, fun portraits of my nieces Ruby and Rose. Basically we were running around and playing while I was taking pictures at the same time. It was a lot of work but fun at the same time. I always cherish the time I get to spend with my family and it's a double bonus when I get to capture some fun portraits at the same time. Meet my nieces Ruby and Rose!

Charity Family Portrait photographed in Santa Cruz, Ca.

I always like to give back my community through my business and one way of doing that is donating my services to charity auctions. A past couple of mine was helping to raise money for a nonprofit called The Monterey Bay Teen Challenge Induction Center. They asked me to donate a family portrait session for a silent auction they were having and I gladly excepted. It turns out that my past couple had the winning bid on my session! It was great to photograph Jenny and Matt and the rest of their family including their dog. Here are some images from the family portrait session.

Orchard and Beach Family Portrait with the Steelman Family.

This family portrait was a little different from other ones because the Steelman family are great friends of mine. Mike Steelman is also a photographer and does the same thing that I do. It always a honor to photograph another photographers family portrait. We all had a blast with Gina and Mike's Kids running around an orchard and later at the beach. Here our a couple images from the session.

Provencio Family Portrait Session I Santa Cruz, Ca.

It's officially Family Portrait Season here in Santa Cruz. The weather is nice this time of year and the holidays are soon approaching fast, real fast. As you know i specialize in wedding photography but I do other things like family portraits. The provencio family found me because they are great friends with a past bride and groom and attended a wedding that I photographed. They are all fun people and we had a fun time at a local beach here in the Santa Cruz area. Santa Cruz Ca. Family Portrait with the LaMarche Family.

I love when past clients come back years after their wedding and get family portraits and baby pictures done. It's so great to catch up on their lives and see how much they have grown since their wedding day. This was the case with the LaMarche Family portrait. I photographed their wedding a couple years ago and Alicia contacted me to do a family portrait of their family because her son was turning one! It was great to catch up and we got some awesome photographs.

Wilder Ranch and Beach Family Portrait Session with the Marsh Family in Santa Cruz, Ca.

A few weeks ago me and Rebecca got to photograph a family portrait of a good friend of mine Sara. Sara owns a awesome company that makes invitations and other great stuff for weddings named Crescent Moon Paper Company. She actually did the invitations for my own personal wedding so that says a lot about her business. It was a lot of fun to photograph her and her family. Check out what we captured.

Santa Cruz Ca. Family Portrait Session on the beach.

    Earlier this week I got to do a family portrait on the beach in Santa Cruz Ca. Area. What a cool family! They all came together to Celebrate Grandma's and Mother's xx Birthday. I'm not going to list her age because I have a felling she does want me to:) So they all came together and wanted some portraits of all the families that made the trip to celebrate, some even coming all the way from Texas! We had a blast and they welcomed me like I was part of the family.
    Also for your information I also do family portraits other than weddings even though you would never know it from my website and Blog. Check out some of the images I captured during the sweet crisp sunset light.
