Were Engaged!!!!
If you haven't heard yet I proposed to Rebecca a while back on Christmas day. Sorry for not posting it sooner but I wanted A good picture to announce to the world. I wrapped her ring the day before Christmas because I did not want her to have any clue that I was going to ask her. Rebecca is a chronic present shaker so I had to wait till the last minute to put it under the tree. Then When Christmas morning came along it was perfect, just us opening presents together making it a more personal setting. Both of us had opened all are gifts except the ring. Then it was the go time! We were both sitting on the floor next to each other. She began to open the present and finally opened it, finding a small black box. Then opened it up to find a ring, I still remember her face looking up at me with a little confusion on her face wondering what this exactly was. Then as soon as she looked at me I asked the famous words "Will you Marry me?" As she began to hug me balling, she said YES!
It was such a perfect time because Rebecca's Mother and grandparents came down for Christmas and we were leaving for her dad's house in Colorado the next day. Also later that night for Christmas dinner we spend it with my family, so everything was great. It's kind of crazy to think that I will be planning a wedding, like I hear so much about from my clients. I'm going to be on the other side of the table now. Just for your info were thinking fall 2009 but we have not set a date yet.
P.S. this is one of the big announcements:)

I KNEW IT!!! YAY!!! Congrats!!! We are so happy for you two. You make such a lovely couple!!! FYI: I recommend Lori Hood as a coordinator, lol!!! Have fun with this moment, it does go by so fast. Laugh alot and dont take it all too seriously (thye planning that is). It can actually be really fun if you let it be. I love how you purposed, Brent asked me as we were opening presents too. Great minds think alike. Cheers!!!
